Smart Solutions and its UK subsidiary SmarTeam UK has announced that Design Rule has met the requirements to join the SmartPartners Program. As a SmartDeveloper, Design Rule will develop SmartHelix, an exclusive integration solution between SmarTeam and Microcadam Helix 2-D software packages.

SmartHelix will allow SmarTeam and Microcadam Helix customers to use SmarTeam seamlessly from within the Microcadam Helix 2-D application, enabling greater lifecycle and drawing/viewing management including drawing title block updates.

The integration will run on windows-based workstations with the following software packages installed: Windows NT or Windows 2000, SmarTeam 4.0 Client and Microcadam Helix Drafting v4.2 or later.
