Cimmetry Systems has announced that AutoVue SolidModel has won the coveted editor's choice award from Cadence magazine. This award is announced in the December 2001 issue of Cadence magazine. The editors of Cadence magazine granted the prestigious award saying: 'If there is a viewing and markup program out there that exceeds the range of file formats supported by AutoVue SolidModel Professional, we haven't encountered it.

In that review the author John Wilson awards Cadence's highest possible verdict, 5 out of 5.
Wilson also states: 'If you, or your organization, has any involvement in reviewing or tracking designs, engineering changes, and any similar documentation, you will want to seriously consider AutoVue SolidModel Professional as the engine for running efficient and effective projects.' As an interesting note, the review included a long list of 'pros' for AutoVue, but for 'cons' listed none, a verdict rarely seen in Cadence magazine.
